If your life has been changed by God, chances are it has been the result of someone's prayer for you. People are spiritually awakened when someone with faith prays on their behalf. Prayer is the power humans have to move the hand of the Almighty. There are days and moments when I literally feel when people praying for me.

Jesus revealed to his disciples, "But if you stay joined to me and my words remain in you, you may ask any request you like, and it will be granted!" (John 15:7). If we live within the will of God, then fulfillment of our prayers is guaranteed. We can have confidence that the Heavenly Father will answer our requests.

If you don't like the government over you, don't complain but pray for those leaders to follow the will of God or be removed. If you are unhappy at your job, don't moan but pray for a change of employment to something better and  brighter. If you are concerned about your children, don't get anxious but pray for their souls to prosper instead. Some years ago I was part of an event called Ten Thousand Men. Its goal was to get that many men to pray for Australia. On the set date a multitude of males across the nation prayed for Australia. We prayed for a breakthrough in the nation's leadership and spiritual state. During the months that passed after the event we saw dozens of individuals who had anti-God agendas lose their positions of power. Some were linked to corruption, others were sacked, some became ill, and still others quit. Among these were high profile politicians and judges.

Some have said, "I prayed and prayed but nothing happened." My response to that is, "How do you know what happened or didn't happen?" After all when we pray we are dealing with

a spiritual dimension where what God does remains invisible to us. We only see the results and sometimes that comes later after we have prayed. Prayer isn't instant coffee. So hold fast and remember Jesus' promise of answered prayer. Don't give up on what you are believing for; timing is everything.
